Christmas cocktails for the on-premise festive season!

Christmas work dos are a-coming! With the upcoming holiday rush, cocktails are bound to be a festive favourite. Here are three options that are pretty to look at, easy to batch or prepare quickly during service, and that taste delicious. You’re welcome!

Gingerbread Espresso Martini

Ingredients (per serving):
• 50 ml vodka
• 25 ml coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
• 25 ml freshly brewed espresso (cooled)
• 10 ml gingerbread syrup
• Garnish: Ground cinnamon or a small gingerbread cookie

Instructions:
– Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and gingerbread syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
– Shake vigorously until chilled and frothy.
– Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
– Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or balance a mini gingerbread cookie on the rim.

Mulled Wine Spritz

Ingredients (per serving):
• 60 ml red wine (preferably mulled wine base)
• 30 ml orange juice
• 10 ml spiced syrup (e.g., cinnamon-clove)
• Top with soda water (approx. 40 ml)
• Garnish: Orange wheel, star anise, cinnamon sticks

Instructions:
– Fill a wine glass with ice.
– Combine red wine, orange juice, and spiced syrup. Stir gently.
– Top with soda water for a refreshing effervescence.
– Garnish with an orange wheel, a star anise, and cinnamon sticks for a festive touch.

    White Chocolate Peppermint Martini

    Ingredients (per serving):
    • 40 ml white chocolate liqueur
    • 40 ml vodka
    • 20 ml peppermint schnapps
    • 20 ml cream
    • Garnish: Crushed candy canes, white chocolate shavings

    Instructions:
    – Rim a martini glass with crushed candy canes using simple syrup to adhere.
    – Add white chocolate liqueur, vodka, peppermint schnapps, and cream to a shaker with ice.
    – Shake vigorously and strain into the prepared martini glass.
    – Garnish with white chocolate shavings and a sprinkle of crushed candy canes.
