Cocktail Menu: Papa’s Salty Dog

Over the course of summer, grapefruit had a real moment in cocktails. After riding the tequila wave with the Paloma’s resurgence, this tart, citrusy fruit has found it’s way into all kinds of drinks.

You might have seen Papa Salt’s take on the Paloma, swapping out tequila and ultimately bringing out the best in the easy-drinking gin. If you loved the Papa Paloma, why not give Papa’s Salty Dog a try? Another cocktail heroing bright and zesty grapefruit.

Papa’s Salty Dog

Ingredients:


  • 50ml Papa Salt Coastal Gin
  • 100ml grapefruit juice
  • Lime wedge
  • Crushed ice
  • Rock ice
  • Sea salt

Directions:


  1. Salt the rim of a well chilled highball glass
  2. In a cocktail shaker combine ice, Papa Salt and grapefruit juice
  3. Shake until well chilled and strain into prepared glass with crushed ice
  4. Finish with lime wedge
