The World’s 50 Best Vineyards today unveils the vineyards ranked No.51 to No.100, ahead of the official awards ceremony in Margaret River, Western Australia, on 19 November.
The annual list celebrates the very best vineyard experiences around the globe, shining a spotlight on exceptional wineries that offer outstanding wine tourism, from breathtaking locations and immersive tours to exquisite tasting rooms and restaurants, and aims to boost wine-related travel and global recognition for wine regions worldwide.
Showcasing world-class wine destinations across six continents, the extended 51-100 list is compiled from the votes of more than 700 international wine industry professionals, including sommeliers, wine journalists, travel and wine tourism specialists, and the international wine trade.
Each expert has cast their votes for The World’s 50 Best Vineyards 2025, with the full ranking set to be announced on 19 November.
The 51-100 list in numbers…
- The 51-100 list includes vineyards from six continents and 38 wine regions.
- There are 18 new entries from 17 regions, ranging from West Sussex, UK and Champagne, France to Tokaj, Hungary and Kakheti, Georgia.
- 33 of the entries are from Europe, followed by six from South America, four from Africa, five from Oceania, one from Asia and one from North America.
- The highest new entry in the 51-100 list is Wairau River Wines in Marlborough, New Zealand, at No.52
- First vineyards from Ribera del Duero, Spain and Kakheti, Georgia enter the list: Bodegas Arzuaga (No.64) and Château Buera (No.72)
Europe boasts the most entries in the 51-100 list with 33 vineyards featured. This includes 11 new entries, three of which are from Italy.
Vineyards in Portugal take a total of eight spots on the 51-100 list, the most out of any country this year; and France is represented by seven vineyards.
New Zealand welcomes three new entries with Wairau River Wines in Marlborough (No.52), Greystone Winery (No.89), and Felton Road in Central Otago (No.98).
Kumeu River Wines re-enters the 51-100 list for the first time since 2023 at No.90, and Ata Rangi retains its place on the 51-100 list, this year at No.100.
