Float into strawberry matcha flavour

The matcha trend shows no signs of slowing down in New Zealand. With its health benefits and visual appeal it’s no wonder it’s appearing on many café and bar menus.  

Our Strawberry Matcha Cloud recipe is a wonderful addition to any menu – deliciously light and creamy, and perfect for summer with its vibrant and visually pleasing layers of colour. Start with a base of fresh strawberries combined with MONIN Strawberry Puree for a burst of ripe, juicy strawberry flavour, add ice and cold milk for a layer of chilled refreshment, then finish with a creamy matcha float. Perfectly delicious, perfectly ‘grammable.

Strawberry Matcha Cloud

Ingredients

60ml heavy cream
20ml matcha concentrate
Chopped strawberries
15ml MONIN Strawberry Puree
Ice
100ml milk

Preparation

Whisk matcha and cream until frothy then set aside.
Add chopped strawberries to a glass, then add MONIN Strawberry Puree. Stir to mix well.
Add ice to the glass, then milk, then slowly float the matcha cream over the mix.
Serve and enjoy!
