Hawai’i Tourism Oceania completes annual roadshow

From 16-24 September, 2024, the roadshow took in Wellington, Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, with 13 leading suppliers and more than 500 travel advisors in attendance.

The B2B roadshow delivered the latest updates on the Hawaiian Islands and offered a vibrant cultural immersion, including live performances by Hawaiian duo Kuki and Nick Navales, hula dancer Sophie Kaina, and Hawaiian-inspired cuisine.

The roadshow’s format featured theatre presentations and a travel expo, at which Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania unveiled its 2025 campaign: “The People. The Place. The Hawaiian Islands”.

This campaign celebrates the islands’ natural beauty and cultural heritage, encouraging visitors to explore the culture of Hawai‘i and its convivial spirit.

The roadshow shared insight into Australia’s strong repeat visitor rate to Hawai’i of 55.4 per cent with an average stay of 8.8 days.
