Despite Australia’s cider category’s slight decline, Magners Irish Cider is defying that trend with huge growth of 46 per cent, highlighting that more and more expats will be turning to cider this St Patrick’s Day.

Magners Brand Manager, Daniel English, says the growth shows how meaningful the brand is to drinkers.

“It’s great to see Magners Irish Cider hitting more lips across the country. There will be no better way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with your mates than with an icy-cold pint of Magners,” he said.

“Magners Irish Cider has a rich history and is much loved across Australia by locals and Irish expats alike. But there’s no doubt that having more Irish cider fans hitting Aussie shores has helped get more pints in hand, and spread the word about the world’s most loved cider.

“We’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead, so keep an eye out for new a Magners in your favourite pub, bottleshop or Irish bar especially as we head into St Patrick’s Day festivities.”

Magners is distributed by Good Drinks Australia, and the brand has released its Magners Finder, to help consumers locate their closest Magners venue this St Patrick’s Day.
