Perth cocktail company, Idle Hands Drinks Co, has announced the recruitment of two new team members and well-known hospitality personalities, Steven Pickup and Tom Kearney.

Steven has been a part of the WA drinks scene for more than 10 years, having worked with distributors such as Spirits Platform WA and Vanguard Luxury Brands, where he helped build brands like Four Pillars, Gospel and Fortaleza. He has now taken on a new role with Idle Hands Drinks Co, where he will work closely with co-founder Andrew McIntyre as the company looks to expand to the eastern states.

A highly-awarded bartender known for his artful use of flavour, Tom has spent the last four years serving the WA bar community with his craft ice business, Arctic Fox. The role with Idle Hands Drinks Co represents a welcome return to his passion for cocktail creation. As Creative and Production Manager, Tom will join Mitch ‘Rummy’ Keane on the production team and be in charge of the brand’s limited release schedule, as well as collaborating on new product development and distillation.

Alongside these two new appointments, Idle Hands Drinks Co is preparing for a busy summer season, with several partnerships and collaborations planned, including the Pridefest and Fringe World festivals.
