Ignite Your Tastebuds with Smirnoff’s new Lemon Freeze and Espresso Fire

Smirnoff has launched its latest product innovation Smirnoff Freeze and Smirnoff Fire – a duo of ready-to-shot, flavoured drinks designed to reinvigorate the light spirits category with a multi-sensory proposition delivering a bold new way to engage with shots.

Smirnoff Lemon Freeze is bursting with citrus notes reminiscent of the flavour of limoncello, but with a twist; the ‘Freeze’ effect kicks in, leaving a refreshing ‘colder than ice’ sensation that lingers long after the last sip. Smirnoff Espresso Fire is deliciously spicy, unfolding into a fiery caramel espresso flavour with just the right amount of heat.

Crafted specifically for the Australian market, these flavour-forward products were developed in collaboration with 18-29 year-olds with high-tempo occasions in mind. Lemon Freeze and Espresso Fire promise to create an exciting sensory experience, at any social gathering.

“We’re excited to bring these trend-leading products to market and can’t wait for consumers to experience the freeze and fire sensation,” says Maddy Stockwell, Diageo’s Marketing Managerfor Light Spirits. “We’ve co-created Smirnoff Lemon Freeze and Espresso Fire alongside our core consumers to ensure they not only taste great, but also bring an exciting sensory experience – the shot literally has a ‘cooling’ or ‘warming’ sensation to match the vibes of the occasion.”

While perfect on their own served as a chilled shot, these innovations work well in simple serves and cocktails too. Try Lemon Freeze in a soda spritz or Frosé-style drink with prosecco for a refreshing flavour twist. Espresso Fire pairs perfectly with cola or adds an unexpected warm spice to an espresso martini.

Whatever the occasion or serve preference, Smirnoff’s Lemon Freeze and Espresso Fire make for great new additions to your venue.
