The company has announced new signings with Novotel Sydney Parramatta (pictured, above), Mercure Sydney Parramatta and Leura Gardens Resort.

Novotel Sydney Parramatta and Mercure Sydney Parramatta are two of four hotels the Huang family has assigned to Trilogy Hotels, along with Holiday Inn Sydney Airport – rebranding to Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport – and Crowne Plaza Macquarie Park.

The 194-room Novotel Sydney Parramatta features more than 915 square metres of conference space and is walking distance to CommBank Stadium and Parramatta Square.

It also has an outdoor heated swimming pool, steam room, gym, sun deck, restaurant and bar with views across Parramatta River.

The 165-room Mercure Sydney Parramatta has four meeting rooms, a restaurant and bar, gym, swimming pool and tennis court.

The hotel is close to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, Westfield Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park.

“The agility of having the Trilogy Hotels team run our operations has been very rewarding,” says Frank Huang, owner and director of the Huang family portfolio.

“We are pleased to have signed another two hotels, allowing us to connect with our guests in greater and more personalised ways.”

Trilogy Hotels is commencing operations for Novotel Sydney Parramatta and Mercure Sydney Parramatta in early September.

The hotels will continue to be branded by Accor under a franchise agreement.

“We look forward to helping realise the full potential of each asset, driving bottom-line performance and efficiencies by operating the four hotels together,” says Scott Boyes, CEO of Trilogy Hotels.

The Schwartz Family Company and its owner, Dr Jerry Schwartz, have strengthened their relationship with Trilogy Hotels.

The recently purchased Leura Gardens Resort is the fifth hotel Schwartz has signed with Trilogy Hotels, following Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains, Mercure Sydney Railway Square, Ibis Sydney World Square and Mercure Canberra.

Leura Gardens Resort is a 93-room boutique hotel at the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park, and it is just minutes from the award-winning Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains and Leura Golf Club, also part of the Schwartz network.

“The hotel is rich in history and atmosphere, with its famed gardens created back in the 1920s for Lady Mabel Fairfax,” says Schwartz of Leura Gardens Resort.

“The gardens remain a central attraction in the resort’s four-and-a-half acres of grounds, and we look forward to working with Trilogy to re-establish the property as a first-choice Blue Mountains hotel for couples, families, groups and conferences.”

As independent managers, Trilogy Hotels handles every facet of hotel operations –including revenue management, cost control and human resources – to help optimise outcomes for every hotel.

“While we’ve only just begun operations, we have great plans in the pipeline for Leura Gardens, capitalising on the nearby Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains,” says Boyes.

“We can now provide a mix of different venues and experiences across Schwartz assets in the Blue Mountains, cementing their position as a leading destination for leisure and conference guests in the region.”
