Rene Redzepi and the Noma team have confirmed a second residency at the Ace Hotel Kyoto in Japan.

Noma will return from 8 October until 18 December this year for a 10-week run that will showcase autumnal produce.

It marks the third trip to Japan for the Copenhagen restaurant, which held sold-out dining experiences in 2015 and 2023, with Chef Rene Redzepi describing last year’s spring stint at Ace as “unforgettable”.

“Our first stay in Kyoto was one of the most unforgettable times we’ve ever had as a team and we cannot wait to return this fall to keep learning, to see our friends again, and to experience everything Autumn has to offer,” says Redzepi.

The team will once again work closely with local Japanese artists, farmers, and foragers on the $540 Euro dining experience which will run over lunch and dinner services.

Lunch seatings will be held three times per week from Tuesday to Thursday with dinner available Monday to Thursday.

Reservations are expected to go fast – bookings go live on 14 May at 9pm AEST via Noma’s newsletter.
