Rockpool Lounge opens in Sydney’s CBD

Rockpool Lounge has been designed for guests in the downstairs restaurant to transition to post-meal for a relaxed and elegant afternoon or late-night experience.

Bar manager Leonardo Zuccardi Merli has curated an eclectic cocktail menu, in addition to more than 40 wines available by the glass.

Designed by Hunter St Hospitality, Rockpool Lounge balances understated elegance with comfort.

Guests are welcomed to the 50-person venue by a host who ushers them to chesterfield armchairs, velvet teal lounge chairs or black suede bar stools.

In late afternoons, sunlight creates a warm ambiance, and when daylight fades, the atmosphere softens, with live music on weekend evenings.

Executive chef Santiago Aristizabal and his team serve snacks such as anchovy on smoked tomato toast, wagyu brisket empanadas, and wagyu tongue tacos.

Heartier menu items include the signature Rockpool cheeseburger and other Rockpool a la carte items.

“Today’s guests look for an experience that enhances their evening,” says Frank Tucker, CEO of Hunter St Hospitality.

“Our aim is to enrich Sydney’s night-time scene by offering a space that extends the dining experience and welcomes those in search of a sophisticated yet relaxed lounge bar, whether they are dining with us or not.”
