Iconic Parisian bar, The Honey Moon, has become the city’s first tapped cocktail bar, designed to elevate the bar’s offering with both convenience and creativity.

Known for its innovative mixology and sophisticated ambiance, Creative Director Ben Wilson said the Honey Moon Cocktail Bar is rethinking the future of the cocktail culture and hospitality.

“We’re always looking for ways to push the boundaries of cocktail culture,” he said.

“Our tapped cocktails not only improve service efficiency but also ensure every drink is perfectly balanced and served at the ideal temperature. It’s a blend of tradition and modernity, where classic cocktails meet contemporary technology.”

The cocktail menu includes a curated selection of both timeless classics and original creations, all carefully crafted in-house in the bar’s lab. Some of the highlights include; Appletini, a meeting point between the candy-apple Martini of the 90’s and the dry vodka martini; Mizuwari No.2, whiskey cut with water, taking inspiration further into old fashioned territory, utilising a special umami-rich syrup and a toasted rice green tea; Jimmy Carter made with peanut butter infused Bourbon, Carpano Bitter and Cherry Liqueur is a modern twist on a Boulevardier with a touch of bubbles.

Non-alcoholic cocktails include Châtaine with roasted chestnuts, cinnamon, allspice, star anise, verjus with notes of chestnuts and Cherry Tonic, with a deep black cherry cordial and a walnut bay leaf infused in a red wine reduction.

The bar says its aesthetic is “rooted in contemporary postmodernism from the 70s to the 90s, skilfully blending elements of Andy Warhol, originally shaped lamps and a fusion of artistic lines and patterns.”

Adding: “The visual ambience is imbued with shades of copper, oxidized green and violet, in harmony with the appearance of the taps. The ceiling comes alive with multi-coloured lights, infusing the entire establishment with a lively energy.

“In the background, a retro disco cylinder adds a lively touch. The wall of taps, meanwhile, combines aesthetics with functionality, with a meticulously thought-out layout. Finally, it’s the soundtrack that envelops the space. It features 90s B-sides, R&B tracks, and the Spice Girls, creating an unforgettable lounge atmosphere.”
