The EVE Hotel Sydney appoints inaugural GM

TFE Hotels’ boutique luxury hotel has appointed Ben Mellor as general manager, who will take the helm when it opens in Sydney’s new Wunderlich Lane precinct in Redfern.

Mellor brings more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, with previous senior management positions at NSW five-star hotels, including Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains and, most recently, as general manager of InterContinental Sydney Double Bay.

“I’m thrilled to join TFE Hotels and take on this exciting opportunity,” he says.

“The EVE Hotel represents a fresh era of luxury hospitality for Sydney, and I’m eager to collaborate with the team to create unforgettable guest experiences.

The boutique hotel will feature 102 guest rooms; a curated art collection; a landscaped rooftop deck with 20-metre swimming pool; a rooftop bar and Mexican restaurant with poolside dining; and a lobby bar.
