Why suppliers should attend the 2025 Retail Drinks Summit

The 2025 Retail Drinks Summit takes place on Tuesday, 11 November at Doltone House, Hyde Park, and will once again deliver an educational and topical program, making it a ‘must attend’ event to all packaged liquor retail suppliers.

With Circana’s Director of Health and Lifestyle, Jarna McLean presentation you will learn about what is driving retail liquor performance in 2025 and beyond. McLean will delve into consumer trends – both positive and negative – and where opportunities for growth lie.

Throughout the course of the day the program will share more about:

  • Regulatory implications for product innovation – With policy tightening around alcohol marketing, innovation, and possibly product availability, suppliers should be alert to changes flagged during the regulatory update and IARD session. This may influence NPD pipeline timing and go-to-market strategies.
  • Retailer demand drivers – The shopper intelligence session offers a view into where growth is happening (and where decline persists). Suppliers can use these insights to prioritise segments, attribute innovation (for example flavour trends, packaging) and work with retailers on range strategies.
  • Budget-sensitive consumer behaviour – With the economic presentation showing consumers remain value-conscious, suppliers may need to review pricing, pack formats and positioning. The session may also provide channel insights which can support supplier decisions on which routes-to-market to emphasise.

In addition, the event remains a key platform to engage directly with banner groups, independent retailers and wholesalers. As a supplier, being visible and aligned with the current learning agenda of the industry helps strengthen commercial relationships.

Full details on the Summit program and how to register to attend are on the 2025 Retail Drinks Summit website.
