De Bortoli Wines has released the new 2024 Buttery Chardonnay, highlighting the richer, more indulgent side of the popular varietal among Australian wine drinkers.

Coming from the Riverina region, the 2024 Buttery Chardonnay is a celebration of the richness and complexity of the varietal.

With notes of bright peach, melon and butterscotch on the nose and a buttery oak finish the wine is a versatile choice for any occasion that can be paired with food or enjoyed alone.

Joel Veenhuizen, Winemaker at De Bortoli Wines, said that the 2024 Buttery Chardonnay offers wine enthusiasts a fresh expression of a beloved style.

“Our goal was to create a Chardonnay that celebrates the richness and texture that many people love, while still feeling fresh and balanced,” he said.

“We carefully selected fruit with expressive stone fruit notes and guided the wine through malolactic fermentation and oak maturation to achieve a beautifully textured and full-bodied wine.”

Established in 1928, De Bortoli Wines is a family business under the custodianship of the third generation of De Bortolis continuing the company’s philosophy of great wine that begins in the vineyard and reflects the region where the grapes that made it are grown.

With an RRP of $20, the 2024 Buttery Chardonnay is a rich and full-bodied wine that’s perfect for any occasion. It offers the creamy, buttery texture fans of Chardonnay love, balanced with a fresh, smooth finish.
