What was the planning process for the event?
Brand and marketing communications consultancy Seven Storeys collaborated with the team at Pro-invest Group, owner of Kimpton Margot Sydney, and the hotel’s team to deliver the event and showcase the venue and its new Suite Soiree experiences.
Seven Storeys was responsible for creative direction, run order, managing invitations and hosting the evening.
What were the event’s highlights?
Guests were treated to an exclusive evening in Kimpton Margot Sydney’s largest guest room, Hammond Suite, with free-flowing Louis Roderer champagne; a champagne tower; cocktail trolley with bartender making negronis and martinis to order; roving canapes; a live DJ; and a surprise visit from Delilah the snow-white alpaca, to demonstrate Kimpton’s “if it fits in the lift” pet policy.
What was guests’ feedback?
Guests loved the event, and were wowed by the surprising and delightful elements, including the beautiful suite, delicious food and drinks, and the welcoming hospitality.
Delilah the alpaca was a big hit as many guests were animal lovers – some guests even brought their pets, such as sausage dogs, with them to the event.
