Fourth Wave Wine has announced the launch of its latest wine range, Mullet Wines, a specialist ‘hard’ wine brand crafted to appeal to consumers seeking bolder flavours and higher ABVs.

The line up comprises seven Australian-made wines, each varying from 13.5 to 16 per cent ABV, starting with the Mullet Hard Shiraz, a mouth-filling wine with red berry fruit flavours and hints of dark chocolate and ciderwood.

Completing the red wines in the range is the Mullet Pinot Noir, a fragrant wine with a palate of ripe blood plum, blackberry and brown spice, and the Mullet Cabernet Sauvignon, with flavours of mixed berry fruit and cassis.

The collection includes one sparkling wine, Mullet Hard Sparkly, with tasting notes that describe lifted aromas of ripe pear, yellow peach, preserved lemon, white florals and fresh bread, and fruit flavours with fresh, crisp acidity.

Rounding out the range is the Mullet Pinot Gris, a big-bodied wine with ripe fruit flavours; Mullet Chardonnay, with ripe stone fruit and light citrus flavours; and finally, Mullet Moscato, a wine packed with tropical flavours.

The range is described as “a rebellious expression of culture” and “offering maximum flavour impact with full palate coverage”, which is also reflected in the bold design, sparked by demand for innovative wines among Gen Z and Millennial consumers.

Packaged in standard 750ml bottles, Mullet Wines are presented with vibrant, eye-catching labels, with each style wrapped in a different colour.
