The GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers results will be unveiled on Saturday, 25 January, the perfect day for venues across the country to celebrate the best that Australian craft beer has to offer.
The GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers poll asks, consumers and craft enthusiasts to vote for their favourite craft beer products of the last 12 months. . With voting now closed, the results will reveal the most popular craft beer products of 2024..
To celebrate the event, venues across Australia will be hosting countdown parties that encourage the community to commemorate the Aussie craft beer culture. Results will also be broadcasted live via the Hottest 100 podcast hosted by beer connoisseur Craig Williams.
Coles Liquor General Manager of Customer Loyalty, Mia Horner encourages craft beer fans to embrace the GABS Hottest 100 spirit by visiting the various venues hosting a countdown party.
“Every year Aussies show their avid love for craft beer by casting thousands of votes for the country’s best brews, and what better way to celebrate than getting together with friends to countdown the GABS Hottest 100,” she said.
“We’re so proud to help champion the talents of craft breweries across the country and can’t wait for the big reveal of Australia’s favourites on 25 January.”
Last’s poll saw almost 60,000 beer lovers cast around 300,000 votes for beers across 436 breweries. Mountain Culture Beer Co’s Status Quo Pale Ale won GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beer Champion of 2023, followed by Balter Brewing’s XPA and BentSpoke Brewing Co’s Crankshaft IPA.
In addition to the Hottest 100 list, GABS will also release the Hottest Indie Beers, Hottest New Beers, and Hottest Next Beers (#101-#200) of the year.
