You like a beer then? Do you have your favourite you always return to? Have you tried a beer this year that blew you away, giving your tastebuds an unexpected treat? Do you have a favourite brand or brewery or brewpub? Then let us know! Cast your votes in the Beer & Brewer Awards now. It’s been a tough year for craft brewers so now, more than ever, we should celebrate the wins and shine a light on the best and brightest in the sector. Here’s your chance to help.

This year, Beer & Brewer has partnered with Sydney Beer Week to raise a toast to Australia’s beer industry and celebrate the contribution it makes to the beverage sector, in both hospitality and retail.

We’ve introduced a number of new awards categories for 2024, aimed to champion the exceptional talent that works tirelessly to make the industry what it is. From industry stalwarts to the up-and-comers making a mark, the Beer & Brewer Awards will be an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of collaboration and excellence that defines Australia’s brewing landscape.

Returning for 2024 is the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognises an individual whose contributions have significantly advanced the craft of brewing and enriched the community. This award celebrates a career marked by innovation, leadership, and unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and the promotion of Australian brews. Recipients have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the industry, mentoring future generations, and fostering a vibrant brewing culture.

On the flip side, this year we’ve introduced The Rising Star Award, which honours an emerging talent who has demonstrated exceptional potential and innovation in the craft of brewing. This award celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions in a short time, showcasing creativity, dedication, and a passion for the industry. Their fresh ideas and commitment to excellence are shaping the future of Australia’s brewing landscape, marking them as people to watch in the years to come.

We will be welcoming nominations from the industry, so if you want your favourite venues, people and products to be recognised in any of the below categories, please email Deb Jackson at djackson@intermedia.com.au to receive a voting form.

Let’s get behind our Aussie brewers and give them the toast they deserve.
