On 1 December, 2024, five New Zealand hotels joined TFE’s global network, covering 500 rooms across Adina Citylife Auckland, Rendezvous Heritage Auckland, Adina CityLife Wellington, Adina Heritage Christchurch and Rendezvous Heritage Queenstown (pictured, above).
Under the agreement, Heritage Hotels retains ownership of its portfolio in New Zealand.
Warwick Kahl has been named TFE’s director of operations New Zealand, having previously been the company’s regional general manager for Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia and New Zealand since 2022.
TFE Hotels’ senior director of operations ANZ, Tish Nyar, says Kahl’s experience in the New Zealand market will ensure a smooth transition of Heritage Hotels into the TFE portfolio.
“New Zealand has always been a growth market for TFE Hotels, and the strategic partnership with Heritage Hotels will offer expanded choice to international visitors into New Zealand,” he says.
“The New Zealand country team, led by Warwick, will not only deliver and drive the success of our New Zealand properties, but provide a strong foundation to support our future growth and expansion in the region.”
TFE Hotels has also appointed Meghana Ghole in the new role of director of finance New Zealand, and Jason Stobbs as director of revenue New Zealand.
