Glengoyne has partnered with Berkelouw Bookstore in Sydney’s Paddington to create The Glengoyne Whisky Library experience, a pop-up bar to unite both realms of literature and whisky.
Glengoyne’s International Brand Ambassador, Gordon Dundas explained what inspired this partnership.
“We’re excited to partner with Berkelouw Bookstore in creating a Sydney first whisky library experience,” he said.
“Our 12-year-old single malt scotch celebrates the quality that comes only with patience, creating a rich, smooth profile ideal for the upcoming festive celebrations. By partnering with Berkelouw Books we are hoping to bring a bit of that experience to Sydney’s long-time Glengoyne lovers and new enthusiasts, reminding all to savour a glass and slow down.”
Josh Hortinela, the Assistant Store Manager at Berkelouw said that the initiative provides its visitors with the opportunity to rest during the busiest time of year. The space offers guests the chance to relax, surrounded by the ambiance of books and the comfort of Glengoyne’s whisky.
“At a time of year when everything moves a little too fast, through our partnership with Glengoyne we’re excited to create Sydney’s first whisky library. This holiday season, we’re offering a chance for shoppers to unwind in an environment that celebrates the art of taking things slowly, whether they’re sipping on whisky or exploring a new book,” Josh said.
The pop-up will run from 5-7 December, with the whisky stand serving Glengoyne 12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch.
