Piper Heidsieck announces Piper Secret Cinema: “A Night with Marilyn”

Written by Oct 15, 2024The Shout NZ

Champagne Piper-Heidsieck has long been intertwined with the world of cinema, serving as the official Champagne of the Oscars since 2015.

In the latest campaign, “Twist the Script”, Piper-Heidsieck celebrates the legendary stories that define the brand’s legacy – like being the favourite Champagne of Marilyn Monroe.

In 1959, Monroe revealed that she began her mornings with a sip of Piper-Heidsieck “because it warmed her body”.

Beyond her iconic glamour, Marilyn was a pioneer, becoming the second woman ever to own a production company.

This Spring, Piper-Heidsieck is inviting consumers to experience a one-of-a-kind Secret Cinema pop-up.

You can enjoy a glass of Champagne alongside Piper-themed treats in a stunning location, while watching an iconic film, featuring Marilyn.

The event will be held over two evenings: Thursday 14th November 6:30pm (VIP night) and Friday 15th November 6:30pm (GA night).

The VIP evening includes live entertainment, movie screening and Piper-Heidsieck on tap for the evening.

While the GA ticket includes a glass of Piper-Heidsieck, ice cream and a box of popcorn on arrival.

Both will take place in a secret Auckland venue, which will be revealed just before the event.

You can purchase VIP tickets here: VIP Night (Thursday) and GA tickets here: GA Night (Friday).
