INTRODUCING VILLA MARIA RESERVE MÉTHODE TRADITIONNELLE

Made in the same style as Champagne, this is the perfect NZ sparkling for summer

Just in time for the festive summer season, Villa Maria is proud to unveil an exquisite new offering to its premium portfolio with the launch of Villa Maria Reserve Méthode Traditionnelle.

100% Marlborough grown and produced, this complex and elegant wine is made from a traditional blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, hand-picked from selected blocks in vineyards across the Wairau and Awatere valleys. Notes of delicate apple and stone fruits are met with subtle notes of brioche and baked bread, leading to a creamy-rich palate and a crisp long finish.

Villa Maria Global Brand Manager Annemarie Webber says, “Villa Maria Reserve Méthode Traditionnelle meets consumers’ growing desire to drink premium sparkling wine and continues Villa Maria’s reputation for providing exceptional wines and wine styles that consumers know and love.

“In New Zealand, the data shows that sparkling wine sold at ultra-premium price points (over $30) is in growth*, and this trend is expected to continue.”

Winemaker Tom Dixon says Villa Maria Reserve Méthode Traditionnelle, which is made in the style of Champagne, is the perfect New Zealand alternative for the festive season, and pairs especially well with seafood.

“It’s a perfect match for fresh kai moana; freshly shucked oysters or light tempura battered Marlborough blue cod, or just good old fish and chips on a summer’s evening,”

Known for creating bold, iconic wines that elevate every occasion, Villa Maria Reserve Méthode Traditionnelle is an exquisite addition to any premium event.

Villa Maria Reserve Méthode Traditionnelle will be available at select liquor retailers from December 2024.
